Get to Know Me!

Hiya! Big welcome to my page, friend!

I’m really hoping that you’re checking out my About Me page to get a feel for who I am outside of photography because I think it’s really valuable to be able to vibe and value the individual you hire to take photos of you. Ultimately I want us to have a super fun time, so let me tell you a little bit about me to start us off.

  1. I’m an animal lover.

I’m an absolute sucker for basically every animal on planet earth, most recently cats but I have always been a dog person (and yes that is a water buffalo calf eating my scarf at a local animal sanctuary Kim’s Nurturing Nest that I contract for).

2. I LOVE to adventure.

If you love traveling and adventuring this insane planet we get to live on, I KNOW we will get along. The couple pictures from above/below are places I traveled to in the last two years: Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area in Nevada (top), Road to Hana, Maui HI (bottom left), and Waimea Canyon, Kauai HI (bottom right).

3. I love music and serving at my local church!

I started learning guitar back in high school then taught myself piano when COVID hit. From there, I started writing my own songs. I love singing, volunteering via videography, and photographing for my local church! Oh and ya! I’m a pretty big fan of Jesus haha.

4. I’m really grateful for the people I get to learn from and live life with!

Some relationships ebb and flow in time, and some stay forever. I’m grateful for the friends, family, and my husband whom I get to do life with and who continue to love me and teach me to be a better person.

*Note: I recently got married and my last name has changed to Lux. My business name will stay Bryn Power Photography but my first and last name is now Bryn Lux, so no need to get confused if you see either/both :) .

Okay after all that… I want to hear about you!

I hope that gives you a better picture of me as a human and someone you might want as your photographer!
